Concentric Circles Watercolor Greeting Card

Hand-Painted Original Art

$5.00

What better way to keep in touch with loved ones than with a hand-painted greeting card? These note cards are bouncy and joyful enough to celebrate any milestone, but occasion-neutral enough to just drop a quick hello. Their thick, smooth Bristol card stock makes their blank interiors a lovely writing surface for your personalized message.

I started painting these concentric circles as color studies--not just to see what colors I like together, but to see how they overlay. I find that wet-on-dry watercolors are about the closest I can get to dye on fabric, so they help me consider what hues I can build in my large batik tapestries. I also just found the repetitive process of painting circles to be really meditative... and being forced to wait for each one to dry before adding another layer a useful challenge to my impatience! I had sheets and sheets of these lying around, so I decided to cut them up to have something affordable to add to my table at craft fairs... and now they've become a staple of my shop!

Each card is unique, so what you receive likely won't be exactly like the ones pictured here. Please indicate your color palette preference below... or select "surprise me" for a random selection!
