Dreamscape Scarf in Jungle Palette

This piece was an early experiment with a water-based resist rather than wax. This medium was perfect for the "dreamscape" pattern, one of my favorite free-form motifs. The lines are less harsh and crisp than they would be with wax; the colors flow easily, giving the motif even more movement and narrative than usual. There's a slight halo at the edge of each line where the water-based dye broke down the water-based resist, giving it a unique glow.
