I will never tire of designing radial pieces. The shapes that fit into and around a circle are infinite. But for this piece, I wanted to think outside the circle... a little bit. Instead of starting at the center and radiating out, as I usually do, I instead started with the four wheel-like circles that make the focal point of this piece--a decision that completely changed the aesthetic of the design.
